So instead of getting a beagle, we ended up with a great dane. Kinda the same thing, right? He's 2 1/2 and massive. Standing up his shoulders are above my hips. What was I thinking saying yes to Taft?! But then again, he's got an adorable face. And if you ask nicely, he'll shake your hand when you meet him. Plus when we do our Pioneer Treck at the end of the world, he can pull our wagon of stuff, and give Taylor, Ashlyn, Christian, and Porter a ride when they're tired of walking.

Oh, it's Xander reincarnated! Porter is so excited his name is Balou (or soon to be...) It's one of Porter's favorite movies right now, "Da Book."
